If you have some bland walls in your home that you’d like to make more attractive try sponge painting them.

By using a sea sponge and your chosen colour(s) your once boring wall with take on a new life.

Ensure your wall or other chosen area is dry and then take your wet sea sponge and press it into your paint (for easy access pour your chosen colour into a roller tray) do not put too much paint on your sponge.

You can remove any excess paint from your sponge by dabbing it on some cardboard etc.

Sponge the colour on the wall in random patterns by pressing lightly with the sponge, do not slide the sponge as this will smear your pattern. By rotating the sponge as your dabbing you wil get different impressions.
If you plan on using more than one colour - don’t sponge the paint too closely together and allow the first colour to dry before applying the second. You can overlap the colours for a varied effect.
