Scrapbooking is not
only a great
way to keep the boredom away it's also a chance to use your imagination
and tidy up all those photographs you have laying around the house. What You Need: Coloured or patterned paper or cardboard of varying sizes Glue Scissors Photos: these can be in a theme if desired or can be selected at random. You may also choose to use sticker or felt shapes etc Once you have your photos the first thing you need to do is using two large pieces of coloured paper/board you need to cut the edge of one so it can be used as a border for the other large piece of paper. Once you have done this glue the smaller piece of two to the centre of the board you cut; this will give the appearance of having a coloured border. Using the smaller coloured paper you can cut a variety of shapes to match your desired theme and glue your chosen pictures to these shapes - your photos may need to be cut to match the correct size. Stick your shapes and photos onto the large piece of coloured paper/board in any design you like. It’s always a good idea to place your photos in the desired location to give you some idea of what it will look like before gluing them on, this way you can play around with the design. Once you have your photos glued on you can then decorate it more by using stickers, or writing funny captions alongside your photos. You may then wish to laminate this to help protect it. In the future you may wish to buy either blank scrapbooks that can be filled with your photos and decorations or you can purchase scrapbook folders which contain specially coloured paper etc. These can be a great way to start a new photo album collection or to give as gifts.
